All those lit'ry allusions and poetry and such, and what the fuck is an Ecclesiast anyway? Fortunately I had another go at it years later and was astonished -- both at how good the story was, and at how ignorant I was as a teenager. (Course now that I've achieved middle age I realize that I'm still an ignorant teenager, only now most of my hair has fallen out.)Chris DeVitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13954514417222660623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6504598332261057441.post-49704377229492872762014-04-24T12:14:23.837-04:002014-04-24T12:14:23.837-04:00Heh heh heh.
I think, after haiku month is over,...Heh heh heh.

I think, after haiku month is over, that I'll give it another look. The problem was always with me rather than the story. I felt it was good, but not something that spoke to me, but I really don't think I've read it since I wrote that initial post on it. I'll give it a try and I'll see if I've become a person who can appreciate it now.Jugularjoshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03768939120752611597noreply@blogger.com
