A picture of me in my Amber hoodie
My wife snapped this when we were hiking on our camping trip and I thought it might be interesting for the Zelazny fans around here. It's a picture of me in the "God is Diceless" sweatshirt Phage Press used to sell along with the Amber Diceless RPG.
I rarely wear the shirt out anymore, because it's impossible to answer the question of what it's about in a concise manner.
Passerby: Sprechen Sie deutsch?
Me: No. Actually, it's a reference to Einstein's statement denying the validity of quantum physics. The funny thing is that Einstein was wrong here. Also, the shirt doesn't really have anything to do with that. It's actually a reference to a diceless version of a role-playing game based on a series of novels you've probably never heard of.
I'm not sure where to post this, but: happy Roger Zelazny Memorial Day to Josh and anyone who frequents this blog!
Last year, I made a post similar to this on the Roger Zelazny Goodreads page, and asked people how it was they came across Zelazny in the first place. If anyone wants to field that question here, I'd be curious to read the answers.
Oh thank god....I thought you were advertising a German porn movie...again...

Passerby: Oh, how...nice.
Perhaps you SHOULD start telling them it is for a German porn company you work for.
