Canada Post does that too. But try as they might, they seem completely incapable of delivering it yesterday when it's still in transit tomorrow.
On the other hand, I have received many parcels in which the tracking perpetually shows that it just crossed the border and went no further, is still in transit, or is still out for delivery. Maybe those are examples where they succeeded in delivering it before it was delivered... ;-)
