Roger Zelazny Poetry Month 2015: Day 30

I've always loved this line from the Count in A Night in the Lonesome October.

He's such a fascinatingly alien presence throughout the book, and Zelazny gets it across in just seventeen syllables here.

"I like the world just
the way it is," said the Count.
"Pray, let us begin.
