I've been a fan of Roger Zelazny's Lonesome October since I first read it when it was released, and I've read a chapter a day in October every where since then. In 2013, I decided to cover a chapter a day here on the blog.

I read it to my wife, a chapter a night, at bedtime every October for over 10 years now. Never get tired of it. I've spread the meme to several others. It really should be an October podcast.
ReplyDeleteAt the last convention Zelazny attended, he did a wonderful reading from Lonesome October. He read his own works very well.
ReplyDelete(Another author whom I've enjoyed readings by is Joe Haldeman. Over the years, I've heard him enough that I can easily call up his voice and hear him read about anything. I mentioned this to him once, and he said it sounded like a curse to him!)
